International Collaborations

The Curiel Institute is responsible for running TAU’s faculty exchange with the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

In June 2022 the Curiel Institute collaborated with the Haifa Centre for Mediterranean History, the University of Haifa International School, the CU Mediterranean Studies Group, and the Mediterranean Seminar in organizing Purity, Pollution, Purification and Defilement in the Premodern Mediterranean, the Summer 2022 Mediterranean Seminar Workshop.

In 2015-2017, the Curiel Institute collaborated with Camões — Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, in organizing the conference on Portugal and Its Culture in the Age of Colonial Expansion, and sponsored the lectures of Prof. João Paulo Oliveira e Costa (in 2016( and Dr. Paulo Jorge de Sousa Pinto (in 2017).

 

Since 2015, the Curiel Institute has been a partner of the International Research Group in Early Modern Religious Dissents and Radicalism (EMoDiR).
